My background is in pastoral and children’s work. Working in Glasgow as a children’s worker with Careforce & Church of Scotland in 1997 set me on a path where I have continued in both pastoral and children’s work in various forms in the years since then. This has included over 12 years of pastoral work in Baptist churches in Kent and East London.
It’s a privilege to share with people pastorally and I am thankful for that time. I especially enjoyed listening to people and considering their questions about how faith works in everyday life.
Although I enjoyed pastoral work I found the increasing administrative load began to take its toll.
So in 2015, I decided to make a change where I could focus on pastoral and teaching work. I am now work in a Church of England primary school (teaching R.E. to Lower Key Stage 2).

I am thankful to the Lord for helping me through my life and being the inspiration for this website.
I also thank my husband Paul for his encouragement of my writing and for his shared insight and for the time he has given to help me prepare and improve this website.
I’m grateful to my parents for guiding me to church from a young age, where I heard the life changing message of Jesus Christ.
